The Sign And Symptom Of Menopause
There is one sign and symptom of menopause that is the tell tale sign that you are entering into your life changing cycle. That is the cessation of your menstruation cycles. If you are beginning to notice irregularities in your period, for example they may be missed, be lighter or even be shorter, then you could be entering into perimenopause which is also the first years of menopause. During this time, your body begins to change and a number of different signs and symptoms will take place.Â
One sign that menopause is coming is that of the hot flash. A hot flash is a sudden burst of heat that usually starts in the chest area and works its way up into your head. You feel hot, really hot, very fast. You are uncomfortable and then it passes. Although they do not stay long, hot flashes that are a symptom of menopause are definitely uncomfortable and something you will want to avoid. Another sign that menopause is on its way is the mood swing. You may not notice this symptom as much as those that live and work with you. During a mood swing, you can go from happy to sad quickly and then back again.Â
But, where do these symptoms come from? There are actually a number of different reasons for them but usually it lies in the fact that your hormones have changed considerably during menopause. Because your body is not producing as much estrogen or progesterone, everything is out of order and that can lead you to a number of different symptoms.
Hormones can be made to be regulated and you can improve your overall well being even when you are facing some of the worst symptoms of menopause. It is important, though that you spot the signs of menopause so that you can seek out the help of your doctor in doing just that.
