i'm having the same problems, right now i'm thinking peptic ulcer OR more likely chronic pancreatitis..both cause chronic nausea, ulcers will cause chronic constipation...and pancrease will cause digestive issues as well. Mine is Wed. and I REEEALLY HOPE it's an ulcer..and not chronic pancreatitis.

I'd first talk to your doctor then probably do an endoscope to rule out ulcer..and ask the doctor to test blood for pancrease function OR do a endscope xray to see the pancrease. Lower left abdominal pain might be from chronic constipation as well...might be putting pressure on the wall down there, fiber might help as well or a spasmotic to calm the gut down.

Best of luck!

I have had left sided back pain and sometimes left lower quadrant pain for at least a year. It has gotten worse recently, but I have been taking pain medication similar to a Vicodin ES. I have now had constipation also. I have a doctor's appt. with GI and also Urology. Any Advice as to what this might be?
